We love this exquisite ‘Hidden Berry Smoothie’ by @eatxeatxeat

The hidden strawberries sit beautifully between thick layers of deliciously purple Haskapa and banana smoothie. 

Here’s how we created our version;

Serves 2


  • 4 teaspoons of Haskapa berry powder
  • 1 slightly ripe banana
  • A sprinkle of vanilla powder (optional)
  • 6 strawberries (chopped)
  • 1 cup of milk (or almond milk)
  • 4 tablespoons of plain organic yoghurt (or vegan alternative)


  • Blend the banana, milk, yoghurt and vanilla powder to make the smoothie. Put to one side
  • Blend together 1/3 of the smoothie with 3 teaspoons of Haskapa powder to make up the first layer
  • Pour the first layer of the smoothie into serving glasses. Place the strawberries neatly on top
  • Add another 1/3 of the smoothie to make up the second layer
  • Blend the remaining smoothie with 1 teaspoon of Haskapa for a lighter purple shade to go on top
  • Enjoy!
