Raw Oats, Chia Seed and Haskapa breakfast bowl

We've recently been enjoying this delicious raw oats, chia seed and haskap berry recipe created by @lelfoodworld

We love how she's added raw oats and chia seeds; oats contain phosphorus, magnesium and iron, and can help to lower cholesterol, whilst chia seeds are a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, fibre and antioxidants. 

Add a single teaspoon of Haskapa berry powder for your daily dose of anthocyanins. It's hard to imagine a more nutritious and tasty way to begin your day! 

Serves one

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 of a cup of raw oats
  • 1/2 a tbsp of chia seeds
  • 1 cup of coconut yoghurt
  • 1 tsp of Haskapa powder
  • 1 tsp manuka honey
  • 1/2 a tbsp of almond butter
  • Desiccated coconut 
  • Raspberries and blueberries 

Method:

  1. Add the raw oats and chia seeds into a bowl
  2. Stir in the coconut yoghurt
  3. Add the Haskapa powder, manuka honey and almond butter
  4. Stir the mixture well and add more coconut milk if a thinner consistency is desired
  5. Cover with cling film and refrigerate overnight
  6. Sprinkle with desiccated coconut, raspberries and blueberries on the top
