Making protein pancakes is super easy, you only need seven ingredients. You can change some of them to give the pancakes different flavours. For example, I’ve used strawberry, chocolate and vanilla protein shakes and I’ve swapped powders from vanilla to cherry and flavours from almond to chocolate.
The below recipe makes 5-6 pancakes in each batch and they’re around 277 kcal in total. That’s so little but because they’re jam packed with protein, you’ll stay full for a very long time. They’re perfect if you want to treat yourself to a nice breakfast whilst staying healthy.
The Cherry Bakewell Pancakes are topped with cherry yoghurt and fresh cherries. Sprinkle with shaved almonds as well if you have some. For a more indulgent pancake recipe, check out what I made for pancake day.
