A supremely delicious breakfast treat! Haskapa’s flavour works brilliantly with creamy yoghurt and warm pears. Very easy to make and the berry swirl looks striking and mouthwatering.

Peanut butter toasts with warm pears and berry swirl yogurt

Ingredients

  • Bread of choice 2- 3 slices

  • 1 tbsp per slice of peanut butter

  • 3 pears peeled and diced

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)

  • 30 ml water

  • 4 tbsp yoghurt (dairy or plant-based)

  • 2 tsp Haskapa berry powder

Directions

  1. Firstly, peel, and dice the pears and add to a small pan with the cinnamon, maple and water.Simmer for approx 5 minutes on a medium heat until the pears have softened.

  3. Toast your bread.

  4. In a bowl, swirl berry powder into the yogurt and mix to combine.

  5. Spread peanut butter over the toast, top with the warm pear and dollops of the berry yoghurt.
