Haskapa Malbec Bratwurst
A hot dog with extra zing. The deliciously spiced Haskapa Chutney is a great condiment for pork dishes. The unique haskap berry flavour combines beautifully with red wine and mustard. A little extra effort in the kitchen gives maximum payoff on the plate.

- 3 Bratwurst
- 3 teaspoons Haskapa Chutney
- 2 tablespoons red wine
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
Grease a baking dish with olive oil and set aside.
Combine Haskapa Chutney, red wine, bay leaf, and mustard in a bowl. Pour the braising liquid, add little bit of olive oil and whisk well into the greased baking dish. Place Bratwurst into the baking dish, and cover loosely with foil.
Pop the baking dish in oven, turn down the oven to 325 degree F and braise for 20 minutes. Flip Bratwurst and continue to cook, covered for another 20 minutes.
Turn oven to cook on high. Cook for 5 minutes, keeping an eye on it.
