Haskapa Grilled Steak



Something deliciously different for meat-lovers. Haskap berries create a colorful and mouth-watering accompaniment to steak. When accompanied by the delicious spiciness of Haskapa Chutney and the rich smooth flavour of Haskapa Savoury Berry Reduction, all this steak needs is to be seasoned with salt and pepper and grilled to the desired doneness. Pair with Haskapa Seasonal Roasted Vegetables and dinner is served!

  • 4 (6 oz) New York strip loin steaks (or your favourite cut)
  • 1/2 cup Haskapa Savoury Berry Reduction
  • 4 tablespoons Haskapa Chutney
  • Ground salt and pepper before grilling


Turn on grill to a high heat. Pat steaks dry and season generously with salt and pepper. Grill steaks at high heat for two minutes per side. Turn grill down to medium heat and finish cooking for 3 minutes each side for medium-rare. Transfer steaks to a platter and let rest for 10 minutes. Place steak on serving plate. Pour 2 tablespoons Haskapa Savoury Berry Reduction over finished steak. Add one tablespoon Haskapa Chutney on top of steak. Accompany with Haskapa Seasonal Roasted Vegetables, Haskapa Garden Green Salad or Haskapa Fresh Summer Salad.
