Haskapa Berry Powder - Triple Pack
What is it
Three packs of Haskapa Berry Powder (which saves you £5 compared to buying individual packs).
Haskapa Berry Powder is made of 100% freeze-dried haskap berries. The haskap berry is an antioxidant-rich powerhouse which contains up to three times more antioxidants and at least three to four times the anthocyanins of blueberries. Each 100g pouch contains around 800 haskap berries, which adds up to a lot of natural goodness.
How to use it
The beauty of Haskapa Berry Powder is that it can be added to almost anything - sprinkle it over fruit, stir it into yoghurt, blend it into your juices, add it to your morning smoothie bowl... we’re still finding new ways to use it ourselves. The berry’s midnight blue skin and deep crimson flesh create its rich health-promoting anthocyanin content. Haskap berries have a unique profile, which includes one specific anthocyanin called cyanidin-3-glucoside (also known as C3G) - accounting for 85% of the berry’s total anthocyanin content.
Research shows that eating an anthocyanin-rich diet is associated with reducing the risk of many chronic diseases including high blood pressure, heart attacks, type 2 diabetes and cognitive decline as we age.
Our Medical Research Director says...
"More than ever before people are looking for ways to live a healthy and happy life, for longer. A key to this ambition is a combination of heart and cognitive health. One way to support these goals is by boosting our intake of haskap berries.
Scientists from Reading University recently published a ground-breaking clinical study looking at the acute effects of haskap in older adults. The results showed improvements in memory (word recall and recognition) and lower diastolic blood pressure.
At Haskapa, we are continuing to work with scientists around the world to research the potential positive effects of haskap berries to help prevention of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, cognitive decline, plus sports endurance and recovery".
